Research Question: How do teachers correct errors?

Question research: although  people learn best through making mistakes, who should do the correcting and How do teachers correct errors?
I believe that people can learn best through their mistakes because there is  no  perfect person in this World.  Everyone can make mistakes.  Therefore, our mistakes are quite important in order to see what we need to know.  However,  although  the mistakes/ errors are important,  sometimes they  can be seen as a problem  for students  and they cannot deal with this problem, so here comes the  question.  When it becomes a problem,  who  should do the correcting ? In this situation, the  teacher  becomes a part of activities and  undertake a big part of responsibility and  they try to  correct errors , well, how they should correct errors. There is some research about it. Error correction research has focused on what techniques they should use in correcting errors. However, before this, we have to know that Every teacher will have different views on this and different ways of correcting their students. Moreover,  while you’re doing this, your student should feel comfortable. Otherwise, you cannot solve the problem. İn fact, you can create a more serious problem than the previous one. Therefore,  you have to apply some techniques in your classroom so that you could not face with any difficulties while you are correcting your student mistakes. These are some techniques which you should know:
1          1.  As soon as you notice a student making an error while we are presenting the language or practicing activities, you can ask concept checking questions.
2          2. We should encourage self correction first and then peer correction if needed.
3          3.  You can also use some drills  such as Repetition drills, Backchaining, Transformation drills and etc while doing correction because these can be helpful
4           4. We need to monitor and record the language of the learner to focus on the errors when the activity is complete.
5.          5. The teacher can give some feedback about the students’ homework or activities.
To sum up, the teacher should correct errors gently, with the teacher using a soft voice because learning can be acquired only if the student trust you.
